CHAIRMAN LAVUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL, PEOPLE OF LAVUN COMMENDS GOVERNOR UMAR BAGO

LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL, & THE PEOPLE OF LAVUN COMMENDS GOVERNOR UMAR BAGO FOR ROAD & OTHER INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE STATE.

The Executive Chairman Lavun Local Government Council Hon. Isah Mohammed on behalf of the good People of Lavun Local Government commends Governor Mohammed Umar Bago for embarking & focussing on road and other Infrastructural development in the State.

Hon. Isah stated this while delivering goodwill message at the flag-off ceremony of 44km Bida ring-road at the Bida Gulf Course on Friday 15th, September, 2023, barely
24hours after flagging off the construction of over 200km of
roads in the State Capital and beyond.

According to Hon. Isah “The State is
fortunate to have Umar Bago at a time when National and Global competition for scarce resources is rising high and only a responsible leadership can keep us on the right track”

He stated further that the infrastructural projects will bring the state together and no doubt, will open up the town (Bida) for multi-dimensional development, stimulating and networking Inter-local Government economic activities having Bida as a focal center. it will also create jobs for the Youth when completed.

The Executive Chairman Lavun Community Government also Use the opportunity to call on Governor Umar Bago’s administration to fully capture Lavun Local Government in all developmental programs. Bringing into perspective, the Lavun 5Km road
project by the Bago administration as the people of Lavun Local Government are ready and happy to welcome His Excellency for another flag-off ceremony very soon.

In Conclusion Hon. Isah solicits for the Governor’s support on Agricultural
transformation initiatives especially in the areas of rice production and Technology.

“Lavun Local Government has over 200, 000 hecters of arable Fadama capacity with large water bodies that is suitable for all year farming activities, this is a unique asset that can be harnessed for the consolidation of food security in the State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Hon. Isah added.
